Equity Research Intern
The equity Research Intern would be responsible for providing detailed research reports on the targeted companies/industries. An intern would also provide Investment Officer with industry/company news updates on a regular basis. With in-depth knowledge of the targeted industry/company, the intern will be involved in investment decision-making (including purchasing or selling equities, bonds, alternatives, derivatives, and other sorts of investments).
WHAT will be your responsibilities:
- Research target industries and companies to provide investment recommendations
- Collect and interpret company data to facilitate recommendations
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of targeted industry happenings and company events
- Develop and write research reports to be presented to management
- Collect data and create reporting tools (including dashboards, tables, and charts)
Relevant skills and knowledge:
- Strong willingness to learn and proactive approach to everything
- Ability to take initiative and go beyond regular working tasks
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines under minimal supervision
- Ability to communicate effectively and express complex ideas succinctly
- Good proficiency in MS Office (including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) is required
